well mr pigford ,i looked at the speedo today and its got 733 miles on it,can this be right after all these years,its not even run in yet. :wink: sounds like a few carefull owners. :shock:

HB. If the turbo has it's own oil reservoir and pump, for gods sake don't turn the motor over without first ensuring that the turbo is getting a really good oil supply. Parts for the 370-F40 series Rajay turbos are 99.9% unobtainable, the one-piece floating bearing in particular is definitely NLA.
A mate of mine can rebuild the turbo for you, and if it's anything like mine, the carbon seal WILL need replacing as they harden and crack without use.

will ,thanks for the concern on turning it over,i beleive the turbo is a ,ff-40 turbo,with twin bearings.(race version one)i also beleive it has a number of oil pumps for certain things,like one for the mag drive,one for the turbo,fuel,.i need to get a battery for it next,if i can get the other one off.hopefully have it running in the next month or so,but not gona rush it.plus i dont know what all the switches are for on the dash. :shock:

well today i took the battery off,and found that the battery was frozen solid,i take it it will be fuukt. :shock:
