patience paul,one step at a time,altho i could do with it being a quick step myself,got to change oil and filter yet,it must all be in the sump by now :lol: ,it has a bigger sump than usual ones,three pints more i believe,got a battery last week for it,but ant filled it and charged it yet,got to get the magneto back off the lad i bought bike off yet,so gona have fun putting that together,but thats next in the plans. :wink:

got something done this week,new rear tyre fitted,had to cut the other one off,got all the panels ,tank ,seat back on,and give it a bit of a clean.

It would be great to pull up at the traffic lights,alongside you on your bike,with either my efe or my raked front ended eddie lawson thing! Youd probably be quicker,as im an old fuddy duddy now.

well dixie,apparently while the lad i got it off was riding it one day,a lad on an r1 came up besides him,opened his r1 up and set off rapid,my mate just opened the beasty up and shot past him,at the next set of lights my mate stopped ,and the r1 pulled up and was amazed at how quick it left him. :lol: we will see when its on the road.then if i can hang on long enough,santa pod to meet mr pigford. :wink: and anyone else that makes it there when im there. :lol:keith you can call up anytime.just tell me when and we will sort the kattle out. :wink:

can someone tell me if the oil filter is the same on this bike as a z1 900 as i need to change the oil,i have a 900 filter,but wondered if they were the same. :?:
