Z900A4 project finished

#1 PostAuthor: Padders » Sun Jul 31, 2011 12:49 pm

Just before the meltdown I posted a couple of pictures of the exhaust I had made by Exhaustcraft. Since then a few of you have pm'd me for a picture of it fitted so finally here you are.

Finished the bike today apart from the fact now she's on the move the left hand fork seal is leaking (more like pouring) oil. As the forks are a bit pitted I have decided to fit new stantions at the same time so the mot will have to wait until Friday. Can I say a big thanks to those that have helped over the last 10 weeks of the build

Exhaustcraft for guess what the exhaust
Hutch for paintwork
Al Marshall for the clutch and brake lines
Martin (prowlerz1) for loan of parts whilst I sourced some plus cleaning and setting up the carbs, then finally helping with final set up/timing.
Rick (Stempy) for the last minute offer of his Dyna S plus making up some stainless adjusters for the Dresda swingarm.
Ted for helping me fetch the bike in the first place.
Mick for seat recovering
And all those in the club that gave or sold parts to me over the last few weeks. She's not a mega money rebuild and the frame will need doing over winter but she's just how I want her for now. First picture was how she was when I bought her although a new front tyre was fitted for when I collected her.
