Good question, thats the hardest part, what to do with it, it's easy just to throw loads of cash at it and turn it into another perfect example, its got a lot going for it, Uk model only 6 owners all history m.ot's tax disks, bills e.t.c. I gave ?1800 for it. So far I have completely stripped and rebuilt carbs, they were painted black enamel, ( if you look close), all jets, needles wrong, binned K+N', fitted standard airbox, changed front footrests to standard and new standard Z1 grips, added indicators, restitched seat, Its got Dyna ign',coils, Taylor leads, Might change wheels for Lesters, Probably put 4into 1 on, don't like z1000 pipes and too tight to buy 4 into 4. Will re-do frame, not decided on colour and will clean engine myself, again too tight to pay for Mr Smethurst.
Gonna ride it till end of October then think again...

Ride it as much as you can this year, then like you say, make a decision at the end of the year.
Me? i think i would probably do the frame black, change the exhaust, that's about it. The good thing is you didn't pay a lot of money for it, just enjoy it!
Four pipes rule, anything else is second best.

Seems like a good buy, black frame and Marshall exhaust would look good. Just enjoy it for now.

What I want is a straight short 4into1 like 70's Devil pipe, Love the Yoshi titanium I put on my Avatar but I believe they're over a grand, not keen on flared pipes, agree with Steve S, John, just gonna tidy it up bit by bit and enjoy it. :sf

Hi don't have a link on the Z power site but here is a bike on e bay with one of the exhaust's fitted. As I mentioned before a friend of mine has a Z1000A2 and has just fitted one which he bought for ?270.00 from Dave and Phil at Z Power.

Hope this helps
