Hey guys can't help but think I've got my firing order wrong on the zed
It's a bit difficult to start and once started it is reluctant to rev freely and pops back through the carbs
Ok if you was sat on the bike this is how I believe it to be correct somebody please correct me if I'm wrong
Top cable feeding pot one in from the right lower ht lead feeding second pot in from the left
Left coil if your sat on the bike
Top ht lead feeding far left pot
Lower ht lead feeding far right pot
So what do you think ?

Ok guys been doing a bit and trying to get this to a point I like and a retro stance
So I've been thinking twin shock
Then to keep to the suzuki running gear I've decided to fit a 1200 bandit swing arm . Only problem I've noticed is to get the wheels in align I've had to pull the swing arm right over and I've got about 5-8 mm clearance Crome the frame .
Also had to space the left hand foot rest hanger out by 10 mm
I think it's going to look better twin shocked
The plan is to have this done for MAY :-/

Not a lot happening in the zed shed at the moment.. Bought a set of paint work and I'm waiting for that to arrive .
When that's here I'm going to put it straight in for paint
I've been looking all over google and various sights for a paint scheme I like that's still sort of retro for the purists....
I like this one but it's not to every ones taste
I'm rethought on the mono shock idea as you can see above and decided to revert back to twin shock using the bandit 1200 swing arm.
Having spacers spun up from stainless to take the z1000 spindle also machining me a set of brackets to hold the shock on the swing arm
So I've not given up far from
