I bought one just like that new back in the day. During those years the economy took a dump here for several years and they had hoards of those Z1Rs at heavy discount back then. I really wanted a Z1RTC but couldnt find one. Traded her off two years later for a KZ1300. Ugly bike but would roll on the big end. One time I outrun a buddy on his GS1100 on the road and me riding two up! I only could turn 12.20s at the drags with it. Big old heavy lump was hard to get moving but once moving look out. Anyway nice bike good on you.
