After riding the bike a fair amount last year, covering around 1400 miles, I had a number of things I would try and improve / modernise during the winter. Yesterday was a nice sunny spring day so I decided to start the bike after all main upgrades had been done. The following changes have been carried out.

1. The Motogadget M-unit has been upgraded to Bluetooth and the bike can now be started without the need for an ignition key, makes the new dash very uncluttered. Also many of the bike electrical settings can now be changed very simply via my phone.

2. The home made instrument set-up has now been replaced with a Koso RX-3 TFT multifunction meter.

3. The handlebars have been replaced by a lower set.

4. Cut down seat replaced by standard z900 one to give slightly higher riding position and less cramped legs.

5. Standard Z1 mirrors replaced with a modern looking pair from Puig.

2021 riding season has been quite nice and September has been absolutely great. I finished my riding last week and have now put the bike to bed...Bike went great all this year, still need to resolve the offset sprocket coming loose and 2nd gear jumping into neutral above 4k RPM, otherwise more than happy. Some stats for the 2021 season taken from the motogadget app that I'm running:-

1200 miles, 23 trips and 33 hours riding.

Last outing photos for 2021, however I am going to spend the autumn / winter months getting my Z1B into better working order so I can do the 50th Anniversary trip to Germany in August 2022! Started work on the Z1B yesterday...
