Nice to see the brackets fitted. Looks like I could have taken the relief a little further towards the Harris black bit but better too little than too much!

T'was interesting to do.

Ruffle,

They're 'spot on' & I am chuffed to bit's with 'em. I've had all the new fasteners delivered & everything now bolts up beautifully. :lon :lon

As I've said in my email, hopefully you can make it to Blackpool, where your beers are on me. :beer

Managed to spend a little time in my garage last night & re-profiled the heads of the just delivered M10 x 1.25 socket caps to suit the counter bore on the rearsets.

Image

In an ideal world I would use button heads, but they don't seem to exist in stainless with a 1.25 pitch. The last of the M10 x 1.25 stainless countersunk that I ordered from Stig fasteners never arrived, and they have no more stock. :??

Anyhow, that's the last I'll report on my rearsets.......... For now.

I think it was on Magnum1's thread, GB had a skate board wheel turned down, think it was a white one!

Had a call yesterday from Pete Sutton, to say my tank was done. :)

OK, it's been a few months, this project was pushed to the back of the garage at Easter, because I was busy shoveling my front garden into 4 fookin great builders skips then repaving the whole lot (Take note MrParr!)

Image

Image

I was also fairly busy fitting shutters to all these £4milloin quid apartments in Kensington. :save :save :save :bla

Image

Anyhow, that's all behind me now & I can crack on with this again. :D

Only sorted a couple of jobs so far, first was to cut up me swinger & have a piece of angle welded back in to sort out me chain clearance;

Image

Image

Welding is beautiful, but is now away to be powdercoated....... satin black.

Next is to sort out a pair of wheels.

Image

This is a spare pair, that I have now stripped & will go to Mikey to have the rims polished, before they go to Hutchy to be painted along with the bodywork which I plan to drop off with him at Stafford next weekend.

I've also found the colour I want & sent these pics to Hutchy, who reckons it shouldn't be a problem.

That's a stunning colour. Saw a Range Rover like that last week...stands out a treat!

Im sure it wont be just that colour alone though Mr Bear??

Any build of yours Steve involving your eye to style and detail is worthy of waiting for , period .
My drive however has been started on 5 and a bit years ago and is at this stage ,
the wait to completion is of no interest to anyone .
Least of all me as i have nobody pecking my head to get it finished
As you can see from this photo taken by my neighbour i've nearly finished .
