It's the shock mount at the swinging arm end that bends.

Just a quick update, as you know I have finally got an engine from a member on here, it was minus a head but the same member has now sorted that out as well :D

The engine will hopefully get to Harris at some point this week and that's when Harris will hopefully start work on it!

Spoke to them last night and they have told me that they have been snowed under with work

I'll keep you posted.

Bit of an update, bought a front Dymag wheel on eBay, that's going to Harris to be included when that big box gets sent down here.

Talked to Harris last night and they have a number of major projects on and are waiting for the engine to arrive before they start, fair enough if they had started they would only have to pack up and move it to one side until the engine arrived.

Still reading up on engines and suspension, I have bought a Z1000 head and block cheap on eBay in the US. I have sent these to Joe at Pit Stop, couldn't resist :D

So that's about it, I'll report again when there is more news.

It just a time thing, doesn't help with being 12 hours in front, if I need to talk to anyone in the UK it has to be done late at night or very early in the morning!

I'll get there, don't think I'll see it before August :(

Then its a dry build, then a strip and a rebuild, so late 2015 I reckon!

I am wondering if Steve Harris does all the old Magnum's personally. My "2week turnaround" has been 3 months so far. Steve called me today to say he's been off having a knee replaced and he's now back on it. Should be done next Friday. Let me know if you want me to look up yours when I collect mine.

Update time :D

Engine will hopefully, fingers crossed, touch wood be on its way to Harris very soon!

Joe @ Pit stop has been paid, just need to let him know what colours I want, more than likely go for a black block and silver head. I did change my mind again and went for the uprated cams and pistons, I had a conversation with a few of my bike mates and the opinion was the cams would work better that the porting.

On another note I was caught speeding a couple of Sundays ago, I was doing 141km/h in an 80km/h zone, the road was in the middle of know where, straight and it was 7.40am on a Sunday morning! My mate who was in front of me didn't stop, I pulled over and was given no favours in doing so!
I was given 8 point, $1020 fine and on the 28th of this month I have my licence suspended for 6 months, hopefully I'll be able to get a restricted work licence  The Police over here are revenue hungry wankers, I'm not saying this because I was caught speeding, I had this opinion prior

i agree with you about the cops out there ,they were sat in unmarked 4x4 's on the bruce hi-way nailing anyone over the limit .I got a hefty fine in Gympie by an eager cop lying down on the grass pointing the speed gun at me ...crafty swines
Glad im back here living now ...well sometimes
i still go out to visit family though

Hopefully by the time your Engines built etc your speed cops issues will be just a memory
