No problem there, this has been built to ride :D

I was going to bling it right up, but I would be afraid to get on it, so get it looking nice and then put some miles on it. It sounds like I remember them from the 70's now the Marving has gone - sent a shiver down my spine it did

To do list :)

1/. Put fuel tap back on (I gave it a good polish and bought some new seals) √

2/. Connect carbs up with fuel pipes and overflow hoses. √

3/. Fix speedo lights √

4/. Bleed front brakes. √

5/. Spent a few minutes with a torque wrench assuring all bolts/nuts are torqued up. √

6/. Adjust clutch, rear brake, throttle cables, headstock, and anything else that needs adjusting. √

7/. Give it a good polish. √

8/. Go get MOT

Yep - it's finished - what the hell do I do now?

I am very busy for the next two weeks so the MOT will have to wait :( - I wasn't going to tax it until April so no problem with that.

It has changed a bit :D

I do love the look of it now though, very pleased indeed :)

It isn't and never will be a show bike, but it will certainly get some miles this summer :D

Hi Mick

I did get it from Edinburgh but not off ebay. It may be the same one though.

Chap from the Rover club told me about it so I popped up picked it up in the van :)

Brilliant job Richard and an awe inspiring transformation too.
I'm more familiar with bikes that finish up as a shiny version of they're former shabby self but this is another thing entirely.
Great work, well documented and informative couldn't ask for more; oh and a stunning looking bike, forgot that bit.

Just got back from bobbing around on the North Sea for two and a half weeks - :green Who knew that you get a force 12 gale?? I thought it only went up to 9!!

Anyhoo, back to bikies. It's back together so will be booking it in for an MOT asap. Trouble is, it won't start now

Pic of what I saw out to sea
