So during the past 2 days, I installed brand new Dyna 3 ohm coils, and the Delkevic stainless 4:1 header pipes and collector link pipe, which needs a silencer.
Osteoarthritis has got to the stage of crippling pain, I couldn't have
fitted the header pipes without help from my friend, forum name Hinckley,
he's the guy who built the mint condition KZ1000 LTD. Top man, and also a many thanks to him for loaning me some tools.

Your welcome.

Those coil mount tubes get mighty close to the pan head screws don't they.

The pipes look amazing.

Thanks AL.
I took it for a blast on a national speed limit road today, and although
the carbs are not fine tuned on a dyno and minus a silencer, it was very smooth through the gears and a very addictive sound. The throttle response is awesome! The mixture is too much fuel at the moment, however when holding it on quarter throttle in 4th gear until it burns as much excess fuel as it can, without changing up to 5th, it suddenly burns the excess fuel,
the power that kicks in is immense, well for 29 mm carbs I know it's still
tame compared to the 31's and 34's with big bore kits etc. but it's all I want as far as engine power goes; it's enough Zed

Mick, only tablets doctors prescribed me were Co-Codamol and Naproxen.
Naproxen I became immune to so was prescribed Co-Codamol
which gave me terrible constipation. Any meds that people consume
over long periods of time are not good for the liver, so in any case
I tend to avoid tablets until I'm in excruciating pain, but I usually
have a soak in a hot bath, just enough to relax the tension, not too
long because of the moisture making it worse, as does damp weather
and weather that is very hot expanding the joints. Just standing for
about 15 minutes is dull agony on my T12 and L1 vertebrae and that's not
all, I tell ya blah blah blah
That's why I'm madcap :git

you may have heard of it already but if heard of very good results from glucosamine sulphate with chondroitin

Flaxseed in powder form for me on cereals, and plenty of fish (almost every day) and soya milk. Again, glucosamine / chondroitin not good for liver
over long period of consumption.

Can we get this thread back on topic now please :D
