Just been to get it mot'd... The guy didn't know what to make of it. Asked if there was anything wrong with it ??? and simply gave me 12 months :P
I will now be taking my completed V55/5, insurance, license, MOT, original S&S invoice for the bike and a photo direct to the DVLA in Chester next week (would hate to lose it in the post). So, hopefully it'll be on the road 1st March onwards.

Jon - Engine spec is Z1 (pork chop) welded crank, RC (Russ Collins) 73mm turbo pistons, wired liners, APE HD studs & nuts, 8.9:1 CR, ported head, vernier cam sprockets, MTC lock-up clutch, modified ATP plenum, RC ported & flowed Rajay FF40 turbo, Mikuni HSR42.

Will, won't the local DVLA/VRO want to see the actual bike??
The VRO local to me won't accept photographic evidence and insist on seeing the actual bike.

Not sure Jack, my mate has registered 5 bikes at Chester and they've never once asked to see one ??

Guys

I recently registered by Z1000 and got an age related plate in 3 days

just took all the docs (age related verified/ statement from Jerry)to preston and spoke nice to the lady helper and wow plate and a tax disc in 3 days

They did not even ask to see the bike--i think they're too busy!

Luv my Zeds better than my Aprilia

Good show BF :up
Reminds me of my 1st MOT after refurb, chap asked to see the old ticket, saw it was 4 years outta date, asked me what i done to it in that time,so.......gave him the rundown like a verbal Tommy Gun. He still had to check(quick perusal) it as yer do.iT PASSED :hoo
Following day took up the "WD" man,he had a hammer to the zorst, due to the rust
