I've ordered all OEM 'O' rings this evening from Cradley Kawasaki for when i put them back together.

should look great!

Can anyone tell me what the original factory Finnish should be on the top mixing chamber and float bowls?

should they be polished?

carbs are all together now, i think they look ok for an amature

apart from seals and gaskets i decided to replace the float valves (not full assebly as they were £40 each), i had ordered some off eBay but when they got here i decided they were going to cause me problems further down the line and just looked crappy, so ordered 4 genuine mikuni ones... £16 each...., hey ho

Your carbs look good. They do dull down in time.

Carbs 2 & 3 mixed up.

I absolutely love that 'just blasted' look Chris, but even with my best efforts they dull down....... sadly. :(

even though progress has been good and it all looks like its coming together I'm starting to hit a wall.. I'm finding it difficult to bring it all together, and worry about all the parts working as one, I'm really frustrated with the electrics as i haven't got a clue really, i keep looking at the wiring diagrams but i struggle to understand them (probably easy to most of you)
once again I'm at a point where i question weather i can be bothered to Finnish it.
this thing has seriously worn me out

Electrics are key to reliability. If you haven't the knowledge (like I haven't) then its worth getting a repro loom from ZPower or somewhere for peace of mind. Just saying.
