I bought a couple of cheap and nasty croc clips from Maplins http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/maplin-60mm-i ... -red-hf24b
Parked the clips and used the insulating sheath to cover the plug from the Dyna 2000. I think the black 60mm one fitted that white plug exactly.

That's a good idea Al, I will get hold of some of them. I was thinking about changing the 4way plug as well as didn't seem the most robust, but maybe not an issue?

My 4 way connector has been good for 500 miles, but I have wrapped it in self amalgamating tape from work to be safe, can't remember the make of the tape, but we use it on antenna connections on cranes and it survives all weather's and salt water.

Well my French painter was not far off the mark on timing, 3 week turn around.. Picked everything up today and got it fitted. He painted the front lines on the fairing at a bit of an angle similar to on a ZRX which was not planned but I'm thinking it looks ok..

Anyway I'll take some proper photos on Sunday because you can't see the pearl in these as the sun is going down.. But gives you a general idea..

That looks great, its a sympathetic choice of colour for the black suspension, wheels and ancilliaries. Big push now, need to give birth soon to make the most of the weather.

Thanks Guys! Few small jobs to do tomorrow and then just front brakes. Dave has the prints already so once a quick check is done one be long till its on the road. Great thing in France is that motorcycles are exempt still from the control technique (mot) so can leagaly potter about the streets to run in etc..

That said we are still on the transfer list and next week I should find out if it's back to UK or somewhere else!! Which could throw a massive hurdle in the path of the latest project.. Hoping it doesn't end up in storage with the rest of my collection..

Manic week last week, I've been transfered back to Aberdeen so loaded my bikes in the back of a van and drove them back to Scotland. Managed to pick up my brake caliper brackets on route. Cheers Dave! Everything on and finished.. So here are some completed photos from Sunny Scotland! :smile
