just back from the jolly nice man who is doing this for me:

Plenty of other parts for it in the back ground too.

The one of the reasons to hand it over to an expert was the in part the Lock Stops and these are pretty elegant I think:

Wheels are back from the painters !!

soon after this was taken some of that black, round, sticky stuff was slipped on and the whole lot was taken away to be refitted to a certain bike.

Oh no this is toned down, I was looking at one of those 3D type paint jobs with a UK flag peeling back to checker plate and bullet holes and things !!

So...

The last post was before the whole thing was stripped back down to have the paint redone as the batch of paint no good.

Not too bad a free repaint.

did the last post to set the scene...


So back to the workshop today to check out progress:

It's back from painting and pretty much back together again as it was with a bit more assembly;

New disc for the rear wheel;

Bit of a quandary now as it might as well have new discs at the front also but which ??

The wheel is FZR1000 where there many variations ???

So once the wheels are on its going to an Exhaust building place to be surrounded by Stainless tubery to a certain spec only known to the builder bloke.

Are those RGV250 forks, look like them, just rebuilding one at the moment.
The ELR is next, just love riding it on a Sunday!
