Managed to rebuild my carbs this week, checked the 25mm float levels, all now bang on, put to the test with a level gauge on my diy carb stand, all perfect. Put back on the bike, cabled up, put don't snap shut, they do close well but don't snap as they should can only assume it's the patten cables, they snap well enough without being connected, any hints.

Simple answer is that the cables need a fraction more slack in them to snap shut and stop the revs hanging.

Well, nearly there, just waiting for the paint set to come back from FX painting, it's going to be in super candy blue, a bit different, and the pipes to be fitted, having a couple of bits chromed. Should be all done for Christmas. :D

Looking the part now David. You manage to sort a 2nd Pipe?.

What's this Candy blue going to look like (there are several shades) or are you giving Richie free reign?.

Paint set back, couldn't wait, badges on, on the frame, just as I got it out the garage for a pic or two, it started to rain, that's this year summed up, just the pipes now and whey hey.
