You have more to be starting your project than I do-lucky sod!

All the main bits seem to be there

Easy project over a weekend or two then,LOL!

I can't even decide on a direction for mine.

Looking forward to watching and learning

You're welcome to watch not sure you'll learn very much though, the only other I've done was a Z650F2 back in the 90's :D

Your engine number is close to mine KZT00AE 054070, although mine is the A2 version.

A bit 'anoraky' but I read that frame/engine numbers for...

1977 Z1000-A1
FRAME NUMBER: KZT00A-000001 >
ENGINE NUMBER: KZT00AE-000001 >

1978 Z1000-A2
FRAME NUMBER: KZT00A-027501 >
ENGINE NUMBER: KZT00AE-042501 >
1978 Z1000A2
Previous Zeds:
1975 Z1B
1982 Z650F3

Pics have been updated with bits back from mods, powder coating and blasting by local firms btw
https://www.flickr.com/photos/148958223 ... res/oH1123

Mine are
Frame KZT00A-015902
Engine KZT00AE-056392

So it looks like I have an A2 engine and A1 frame? If so that sits better with me having braced it and fitting the ZRX bits...

Nice project Russ.

What front end are you using?

As per your flickr title how are you reducing the cc to 100?

Cheers
