Also managed to find a swing arm spindle . So tried to fit a 1000 dresda with the rear slabby wheel but it was a bit tight accross the back wheel.
So i will have to go with plan A zrx or xjr arm. So will dig that out the loft later today.

It's slowly dropping in to place! I have one question - what's the frame as it has an external steering lock?

Nice to see the frame being put to good use .Gave it to my brother (Pluto ) last year as I had no space to keep it and my frame was sorted by Motoliner. The frame was from a whole stash of
parts I bought in here in Germany from a 1981 Gpz 1100B1 . The external steering lock was also fitted to German spec B2s and 1000Rs
If I remember correctly , the lockstops need a bit of work and a centre stand lug is a bit wobbly !

Just worried about the length though as it makes the wheel base 1590.
STD is 1520
Would really like it at 1500 the same as the Harris.
We know Al's Works at 1532.

Going back to calipers, does anyone offer decent made brackets for the ap's/grimecas at a sensible price. Here in the uk.
don't mean to hijack thread just gathering info for future mods.

Longer wheelbase is more stable in corners and the rear wheel takes a tighter radius across the corner. The place where a shorter wheelbase might be more useful is Cadwell because its all sharp and jaggedy but its uncomfortable having the rear wheel follow you around so closely. Any mistakes are magnified proportionately. I'm sure it will be fine as it is. I think i would put more attention into getting the rake and trail set-up correctly as the back end has a direct impact on ride height / trim height. I'll try to re-measure mine at the weekend as that pic is with the old arm and therefore with the front pivot point further back in the frame. You may not like eccentric rear wheel spindle adjusters but they do have a lot going for them in terms of adjusting the rear end if youre looking for a 'quick and dirty' solution to ride height or the proximity of chain run to swingarm or to increase / decrease squat.

Could go 25mm less or 25mm more as the adjusters are right in the middle.
Probably a bit too short for its own good. It shakes its head just perceptibly going from flat out into a corner like Chris Curve Cadwell, Redgate Donnington and End of Pit Straight at Snetterton.

It only shakes at Snetterton when crossing that line of green paint I Left on the track .

I think I will leave mine as is and perhaps look at different offset yokes if it does not work well.
