Hello guys
some more news!
This morning a box arrived and there were some parts inside.
I had the opportunity to mount them on the bike.
Let's have a look.
- the front mudguard
The front mudguard was bolted to the fork, it took some fiddling but it turned out right in the end
- the chain guard
The chain guard went on very fast, only two bolts, a matter of minutes.
- the rear view mirrors
Then it was time to mount the rear view mirrors, after a bit of adjusting they're at the right angle.
The spark plug caps and the battery leads were also installed.
It starts to look like a Z1B.
I only need a 4 in 4 exhaust system to complete the restoration.
That part will be ordered next month.
More to come, stay tuned!

Hi men
the Z1B isn't finished yet...I planned to order a 4 in 4 exhaust in Germany at Z-Fever but André, the shop keeper, had a hart attack during the month of february and he's still recovering from it so his shop is closed until further notice...
I planned to order an exhaust for my '72 Z1 and to mount the 4 in 4 exhaust, which actually is on my '72 Z1, on my Z1B.
I'll have to postpone my plan until André has recovered. It could take some months.
But...I started the restoration of a Z1000ST
Yes another one: the fifth
So I start a new subject.
The restoration of a Z1000ST to standard specs.

Philippe, if your stuck for 4/4 pipes give Phil a ring at z power in the UK, he will export to you, and at a decent price, get a discount for being a member of the club.

Hi men
@ Bill: Thank you!
@David Z1R: I know, thanks, but I would like to have the MTC '72 pipes...to put on my '72 Z1 so I'll have to wait anyway.

Hello
the '72 4 in 4 arrived from Germany last week.
And yesterday I swapped the exhaust from my '72 Z1 with the new exhaust.
The "old" 4 in 4 was mounted on the Z1B and now she's finished.
Enjoy the pictures.
I know it took some time before she was completed.
Compared to the condition she was in before the restoration I might say : job done!

Hi Bill & Kawasaki Man
thanks or the compliment!
I had to "google" the expression "Bobby Dazzler" because I didn't know the meaning. Now I know.
