where did you buy those HT Lead "spreaders"

I think Phil the previous owner made them. They look like a cable tie with a short piece of clear pipe between.

ah right - zoomed right in and can see that now. Thanks for the reply.

There's various different types available in the car world.I use them on the Dodge

No updates for a while but a little bit of progress made.
Changed the cut down Harris fairing for a half fairing purchased from Dynodave that he got from Ragged Edge, quality was ok apart from one edge where the fibreglass hadn't bonded to the gel coat and there was an air bubble that was about a foot long that had to be filled and shaped but turned out ok in the end and feels nice and solid now :)
Also splashed out on a set of flatslides as I think I may have had a few problems setting up the 34mm z1000j carbs I'd got so bit the bullet and picked up a set of 29's bored to 33 that hopefully will do the job.
Couple of pic's.

Not much of an update but the wiring is 95% finished, got a nice fat spark and the charging system is all wired up. Almost ready for firing up :D I'll probably wire up the lights at later date and just stick a daytime MOT on it for now.

It looks very good. I took mine out yesterday for the first time this year and the damn thing has nearly crippled me. Combined riding position and rock hard suspension has put something out in my back. Can’t move now!

I had the very same problem - the bike is the same and I've become a lot less flexible ! I was something like 20 mins and I had to stop !!!

I have sorted it out with some very widely adjustable bars and foot pegs. Details of what I have done are on my build thread on page 9:
