The time arrived this afternoon to press the noisy button for the first time on the 650 she started
relatively easily and revved up ok after minor carb adjustments
so just waiting for my painter mate to get his finger out next weeks date has moved till week after
but thats life plenty more tinkering to do when im up to it

Looking good Bill, going to rebuild my harness next week or so, pulled the old one to pieces, in a very bad way, breaks all over it.

Nice work there coming along well.. Just putting the finishing touches to a set of z650 clocks, as we speak.. Took me a long time to find the right green for the inturnal surround, but I think it's good match, and makes the clocks look fresh.. Also needles repainted... As the tips fade to a dull orange.... A set of Z1000 switch gear sent out last week..

Put the bodywork on yesterday after having piped up the brakes and bled them far from my favourite job,

Tidy my buddy, I have found that front expansion tank for the 1000rx and a few other daft bits i'll have a drive down when the weather picks up,

Done a few miles on her now pulls strong handles sublimely and i think of the
dozen or so 650 models ive had this is by far the best so its onto the next one
later in yr its in the corner ready a b3 this time

My favourite Z650 of all and I bet it sounds lovely with that Delkevic on? Strange though that they went from triple disc back to rear drum on later models?
