Hi steve mileage unknown didnt come with clocks but had some refurbished by bob in the states. Mike fitted new bearings and loads of other work to the crank and engine as you know he is a perfectionist i can tell that from the parts bill :blah .

The engine rebuild parts Bill is worth it as nothing worse than having to revisit it!!

Update, wheels and mudguard done along with other bits of painting and polishing.
Engine almost there and carbs off to Mr Smethurst, cant wait to get it finished but still going to be a while off money short
work dried up during lockdown!!

Carbs look good,If Steve Smethurst has carried out the refurb they should be set up to go with minimal adjustment.

I have a beautiful z2 finished by same , I also have finished 2 z1 engines with Simonize tough black and it’s absolutely identical . I don’t think there is a great mystery here / just smoke and mirrors.
