The B frame came without any ( but was powder coated which was weird ) and the Z1R's were rotten but I had planned to lay the shocks down so they would have been coming off anyway.
I've started by knocking up a drilling/welding jig and components to accurately position the mounts.
The round eyed bars are the substitute shock struts and the flat bar is to position the drilling and welding pin fixtures..

The top pin on the left is the drill guide for the 8mm pilot and the right one goes in the drilled hole afterwards to lock the jig in position so that the other side can be done .
The two lower thumb wheel bolts run up to the frame to keep the bars parallel and equidistant on either side of the frame when it comes to welding on the new mounts .

The whole lot bolts to the frame pivot and swingarm with suitable spacers at the pivot to match the width of the swingarm shock mounts and triangulates the position for drilling the frame.
A 6mm bolt in the top eye of the struts keeps the pins and struts locked in position..
The current set up is ready for drilling the laid down position and the large uppermost hole is the correct distance for the original shock position if I ever need it for a future project...
Next job is to get the Black and Decker out.
your making it all look so easy Even though half of the build is fabricating the tooling 
The XJR arm looks really good in the frame, how far back is the shock mount from the pivot point ?
