I had a couple of GS550's in the late 80's great bikes but bloody heavy! Nearly bought a 1000 a couple of years back but couldn't raise enough money. :(

Had a bit of a fiddle with the Z650 carbs ,got them back on the mounting plate then spent a while
sorting through the new stuff id got for them ,then as usual my attention span failed and i started
messing with the Ribless carbs then moved onto cleaning GS1000s parts and chuckin them in the
parts washer :)

My attentions wandered as usual from one bike to another , the engine is back in the frame and a few wires
connected up and i've made her into a Twin Disc , just rolled her of the bench for a bit so i can do a quick
assessment of my newest acquisition a 900 ltd don't know why i do it to myself :)
