650 C2 rebuild

Finally starting to rebuild my 650 after 6 years languishing in the garage. After having the engine aqua blasted by Wayne at Wizard Customs on Sheppey I had to make the rest of the bike look just as good. Powder coating seems to have become expensive now, last frame I had done cost £60 and had quotes of £100 to £150 for just the frame and swingarm this time, finally found JDM Powder Coating in Strood who did the frame, swingarm and box of bits for £120 and really pleased with the result. Will try and post some more pics as and when I get more work done.

Nice job, but as you know deep pockets are required.

Unfortunately there are big child and grandchild size holes in my pockets which is why its taken so long!! :D
I will have to clean up the rest of the bike myself and replace what I can when I can but first objective is to get it back on the road and turn it into a rolling resto as its the best bike I've ever owned, great fun to ride and get lots of "I had one of them" comments.

Good project - at least you got a bit of room to move about!

All that space and he hasn't got any friends to play with, what a terrible state of affairs. :D
