I need to source a kickstart that I can bend to clear the brake lever on the rearsets, if anyone has one going spare?

Also decide to go back to a mechanical speedo after searching for hours for unsuitable GPS speedo's.

Do you need the splined mechanism and shaft or just the shaft?

Gus, actually it was a kickstart lever I was looking for but I did some rummaging through old boxes yesterday and found one , but thanks for the offer.

Mostly been trying to sort out the wiring on the last couple of nights and finding if I have everything, so sorted out reg/rec starter solenoid fuse box panel last night and also did a bit of tarting on on the switch bodies as I am making a set up from some scrap ones.

I do have some modern switches kicking around but the zed ones are comfortably familiar

(for the eagle eyed among you I also spotted I had not whitened the Hi/lo Letters so that was corrected)

Have been doing jobs on the zed .
Made up a set of clocks from boxes of bits and new rubbers and made sone new foam mounting.
The mk2 yokes had no brackets for the clocks but before powdercoating. I welded some pillars onto the bottom.
I then needed a bracket to mount to .
I then mounted my rebuilt clocks and it all works quite nice.

Its getting to the point where I just want to put the bodywork on to see what it looks like.

Also added the cooler and pipes.

Been very lazy in updating the thread, but have been tackling jobs on the bike.

Finally got my pipe sorted,

Could not resist any longer getting the bodywork on for a look.

Very pleased with the paintwork and general overall look.
(Still unsure on my mini zed style indicators but they'll do for now.)

Just awaiting a new pingle tap but in the meantime, I will get it running off a remote reservoir.

Some other small jobs to complete as well like cutting and fixing the mudgaurd. Fixing the high beam switch which works but is intermitent. Which reminds me,
One of my challenges was I could not get hold of any W clips for the headlight rim to hold the glass in place so I bought some 2mm spring steel of ebay and made some up. They are a bit heavy duty but hold the glass in a treat.

Apart from that its all fine tuning from here on in.
