Lockdown Z900 refresh

#1 PostAuthor: Tonto » Sun Jul 19, 2020 2:24 pm

I've had my Z900 for about 9 years and she was needing a bit of a refresh: lockdown arrived and cocked up all planned ride outs- so was an ideal time to tidy her up.
Had a couple of paint defects to resolve so turned her a lovely shade of the unpopular "brown", and she had the (wrong) 72-75 rear light and duck tail to put right, but other than that it was a deep clean from front to rear, full service etc.

Today I finally got her back together and off the bike lift, and took her for a little bimble around the local villages.
She's not perfect, but I'm well pleased with how she turned out.

Hope to put a few miles on her this summer.

Looking fab, and after 3 to 4 months of polishing I'm glad there's still some chrome left!
