Re: Ex drag bike back on the road
Couple of hours fiddling on some smaller bits and pieces today! Sorted out the boost gauge bracket .. not sure where I’m going to eventually mount it as yet!!
Also thinking of using the original switch gear block to mount some micro gadget switches as the starter button etc were missing!

Re: Ex drag bike back on the road
Another small job done this evening
Had welded on a bracket on the frame for the seat Latch and wanted a simplified version mainly because of been lazy and not wanting to fab all the brackets etc for locks an levers etc!
Been putting off sorting this for a while so decided just to get on with it and make it up as I went along .. Came out ok and importantly it works

Re: Ex drag bike back on the road
Fork tubes back from Hard Chroming Mansfield so rebuilding commences!!
Rechromed rather than new as the tubes are 65mm shorter than standard which is perfect as I was going to shorten by 2 to 2 1/2 inches
These tubes came with some early forks I bought .. cut springs but short tubes Really interested to know what they came from if any members can shed light!!
