It's apparently an F1 in good nick that hasn't run for 2 years, old chap selling it, up for 1500 euros.
Opinions please gents.
Cheers

I'm, hoping the 'carenage' has looked after the important bits, it's odd

Well just got back from Paris with it. He was an aircraft technician and made the lower front and rear 'fairings' . The screen and headlight fairing is enormous. I had to take the screen off to fir it in the van. Unfortunately someones hacksawed the rear mudguard but I have a box of bits that include rear indicators, spark plugs, a cable and an almost complete engine gasket set. Almost complete because he said he'd done the valve clearances and changed the timing chain tensioner. Not heard it running yet but it came off the road just over a year ago. Inside of the tank is clean.....but it still has petrol in it.
Photos to follow.

'Different' is a polite word that comes to mind.
The old chap (82) took a lot of time to make it like that. All the fairing fixings are 1/4 turn screws on captive nuts or SS 3/8 thread. The exhausts are genuine stamped Kwak but the end pieces are modified Oxy bottles filled with course aluminium scouring pads because the ends off the silencers are no longer in this time zone so he made his own baffles.

I have de-Batfinked it now but was too late to get some photos, will post tomorrow

Always wondered how they powered all those lights of a 6v battery?

Hopefully the bikes a beaut under all the front and rear fairing panels. Does make you wonder why he infilled around the rear wheel and also the engine.

So here it is de 'Batfinked'

Some big horns on it, also some big horns (handle bars).
A bit of modding was done to the loom in the headlight, also around the fusebox. No.1 carb floods and there isn't a spark, the kickstart splines are knackered (the kickstart itself, the shaft is OK). I've got a Haynes BOL's for the '76-'78 model so should cover most things though not as as extensive as a Kwak manual.
Brakes, suspension etc work. Tyres are good and most things 'seem' to be there.
At the moment I just want to get it running and whip down the lane on it then it to see how much mechanically needs doing.

Could someone move this into to projects please?
Pete
