Hi all I’ve managed to find a z400j and bought it , it needs restoration but most of it is there will be a nice little brother next to the zed 1100 not many left on the road now I will start this thread as a build project it has Eddie Lawson colours which I’m going to keep but everything else standard

I will :D , between other bikes it will be done , I had a look on dvla and it reckons only 7 left on the road don’t know how true that is but I do know I’ve been looking for 5 years for one

The Z400J is a real nice little bike, it's light, it handles like a M***D and it spins like a kitten. :D

Thank you kwackman I’m going subscribe tonight i have managed to buy another z400j with some good bits motard and guararii seat can’t spell it so it’s going be another back on the road

The 400 j is very popular in Japan , a lot were exported back there in the 90's when they were cheap along with a few other models they are keen on. I supplied a few to Bat m/c's back then .

That’s interesting to know possible why they aren’t many on the road I looked it said 7 I’m going get these back on the road and sell one so somebody else can enjoy as well.
