You’re not crazy at all and I wish I had as much room as that to work in and enjoy the bikes!

Thank you again mate and your own build is nearly finished, you must be up to 3 fully built bikes a year by now.

Re: Z1B's on the West coast.
Made a pair of hidden bar ends as im using the stock grips, had to shorten the handle bars by 3cm and then made the bar ends out of brass, it will help with my numbness in my hands.

I suffer from vibration white finger from 30 years at my job, the numbness sets in fairly quick these days so anything that can help..helps. the more weight to the barends and in other cases the the whole bar stops excessive vibration. I rode from Galway Ireland to Nordkapp in Norway and back through Lapland and Sweden, one month in the saddle a few years back on the the "she beast" below. A mates dad from Canada who does real serious miles in the States said to fill the Ape hangers with compacted oil and sand, the difference before and after was like light and day.

They do indeed but also as well as time spent working time spent waiting for parts is a chore, 2 weeks waiting for a few bits from Zpower have grinded things a halt but iv a 1200 bandit im doing a frame up build on as well as a Z1r and i tip away on the Z1000st and my shovelhead. Good thing im Semi-retired.. and im in the wilds of north Co. galway. about 15min from Cong if you know it?

Quick update, still waiting on a few parts, Ireland is a pain in the ass when it comes to customs and importing shite, thank your lucky stars lads that you have such handy access to parts. All electrics are accounted for bar one coil, wheels are laced and true and finally got a front axle and speedo gear, all i need is a rear axle and the bits i need to build the engine, rebuilding/restoring carbs are under way.
