Z900 PROJECT
Hopefully here are a couple of pics of my Z900 project.
I bought the bike back in February as an un-registered KZ900 with the 386 import document.
It was pretty complete but missing side panels and air box.
The seat was a right mess with a rotten base.
Got a pair of side panels from Jerry the Berry and gave it a coat of paint to give it some colour.
2:4 seat from Keef I.O.W.
Airbox from the club's very own Bruce Willis look-a-like
Set of used baffles from FloydZ1.
I had the rust in the petrol tank chemically removed.
Hoping to get the carbs, stripped, checked over and ultra-sonically cleaned before I try to get the old girl fired up some time in August.
If she runs o.k. then it's on with the MOT preparation and U.K. registration.
