Hi padders, Might get a harris and shorten it or use headers that came with it and fit a carbon stumpy down by foot pegs Only thing is they are black and i don't really want black, Not to sure yet really. One things for sure though it will be short and loud. Brian

Brian, Your bike does indeed look the 'bo**ocks', I have enjoyed watching the progress you have been making. I have tonight re-read the whole thread as I would like to know where you had your fork extensions made. I notice you live fairly close to TES Performance, was wondering if it was them that did the job? (I have been calling them for the last two weeks but cannot get an answer)
Cheers, GB

Hi Ginger Bear,Yes you are right TES were close to me they made a lot of the parts on my streetfighter R1.The reason you are having no luck getting hold of them is they packed up trading about 12 months ago which was a real shame as they were really good fabricators for one off bike parts  So for this build i got Taylormade to make fork extensions for me. They cost £200 plus P&P. Hope that helps you. Brian

Give Exactrep a ring and see about Eagle Mach7 headers for a Gpz1100 81-83 their exhaust code is 4012. If you want to see what they look like see a pic of my Harris.
