That doesn't even cover my fuel costs collecting the parts Jack. Gutted but when John made the call last weekend I couldn't get the thought of having the Harris back out of my mind. I built that bike from scratch and had it for years. Since then have not been able to settle on any other bike standard or special.
I have got to have a go at raising the cash to try and buy it back.

Padders.

Only joking Ian,it's a reference to the Z1000 Ash bought for a ton,a proper Z bargain!!
Surely you'd be better off re-building the Z and selling it as a finished item??
Hope you get sorted out without losing too much money on the Z bits you've had work done to.

Would love to take it off your hands cos the inspiration photo really pushes all the buttons. Sadly no monies cos it's all being sunk into the Money Pit called my Z1B.
Gonna miss the project progress, hopefully someone will buy all the bits and will carry on with the vision and continue to post the progress. Shame to sell off for spares.

I take it that lack of response means fuk the sentiment of putting it back together 'give us the fukin money!!!'

No the lack of response was me waiting for a reply from a guy who bought the frame on e bay but has not been in touch. I gave him until tonight then I would have been in touch. No point contacting you until I knew one way or another. Nice reply though good to see members showing respect to each other.

I did not want to say anything about that one Rich as everyone seemed to think it was ugly. However underneath there was the basis for a bloody good bike. Those perimeter co axle spondon frames are works of art.
