OK its a 1980 zed thou motor that had an action fours big bore kit fitted many moons ago, i expect lots of u on here remember that they were the things to fit . Unfortunatly after 28 years some neglect and 35000 miles it had a bad smoking habit...the engine had been stripped when i bought it and the bores and pistons were not in good nick SOOO. new barrels and a set of wiseco pistons bottom and top end rebuild as we speak:or type;
Should be ready in a few weeks. frame and wheels back tommorow. s/h monoshock in the post, and i can start putting it back together :D :D but no dought will be needing some odds n sods and a bit of advice from u gents :wink:

ok boys this is the sort of info i need.. i had hoped it was original, but even harris arent sure of whats what... the seat was cut and lengthened by 3 inches i assume to make it more comfy two up,the tail lookes very much modeled on the old cb900?

If it uses 10mm bolts on the chassis it's a MK1, 12mm it's a MK2. Although some were converted to 12mm. I agree with Rich, it's a MK1.

You boys know yer onions! just had a mail from harris mag 1 bike early 83. harris dual seat .and mag2 fairing very original apart from fairing.. me very pleased!!!!!!!! anyone got a cheap mag1 fairing :D

yep being an teenager in the 70s .flares long hair ,led zep , e.l.p, 3 day week, power cuts, fuel rationing, no double glazing or central heating.
on the plus side big yank v8s e types mk2 jags. 750h2s z9s zthous... those were the days :?? anyway how much for a mag1 fairing :D

Fairing - email me for photos and I will go rummaging in the loft, but it won't be cheap.

hi geoff . not a very original idea ,but kwacker lime green and white, late 70s early 80s style. black motor just try to keep it simple :)
