Hi. Sorry can't say just yet , I have a scheme in mind, A modern twist on an old popular theme. It all hinges on whether the one off tank badges i intend to cast on my coal fire ( when the missus is out shopping ) come out ok.

Sorry, don't work at corus.Got a few mates who do though, all who have bikes so you might know some of them. I used to do work freelance for a couple of bike shops in town as a sideline as well as taking in a few jobs at home, Hence the workshop.

Here's some pics and info on the frame mods. This shows the usual undertank bracing. All the tubing used is from a donor GPZ305 frame, so its all genuine kawa.

This show's bracing around swingarm pivot area and also rubber mounted catch tank i've just done.
Also the new swing arm spindle is of a larger dia than original so i rigged up a special cutter (that used the pivot as a guide) to machine out the frame pivot inserts, I then turned up some larger dia replacements and welded them in.

This shows the original rear loop which i repositioned and braced to mount the battery box and seat mount , The rear shock mounts have been re built bringing them wider apart to match the swingarm, Also shown is the alloy seat support plate so that the fiberglass UNATECH Z9 ZEDBUTT seat unit is not taking the weight of my fat a*se.

Bit obvious this one. Substantial (Z) bracing on front down tubes. The fastest bits of geep 305 on the planet :)

You must have spent some time on the old lathe, making bits for the Z,your bike is going to be a work of art!
I am building a one off at the moment, just the usual upside front end and gsxr swinging arm,no idea when it wll be finished,i am thinking of making a different exhaust for it,i am in the process of sorting the tooling to make 2 into 1s,so i can make a exhaust system that can stay on so the oil can be changed, the system i make at the moment looks good but obviously need removed to service the bike.

Best thing i ever bought, saved a fortune in time and money,Lost count of the stuff i've made. Bike would still be just a pile of bits without it. Here's a pic of my Z1R. Exhaust is cut'n'shut from donor systems and routed around filter housing. Am now looking for more pipe for the drouin.
