Have checked it out, looks about a 3" gap ?

Got me mate to jump around on the bike, seems to miss it by quite a long way.

Hi Monk,
I found your Corbin seat comments interesting. I bought a 'Gunfighter & Lady' for my Z1000 & as I,ve posted before, 'the jury is still out' on whether it will stay or not. (truth be known, it'll probably go once I find something better).
I quite fancy a Lawson type seat myself. Do you know where your's originated from :?:

Sorry old son....

It was on the bike when I bought it, don't know the make but I have seen a few others so there are a few around.

That Corbin was a lovely seat to sit in but I just didn't 'click' with the looks.....if you know what I mean.

Here is a side on of that Lawson seat...imo it needs the back seat re-shapped to be as low as poss and parallel with the angle of the tail piece, also needs the gap at the lower front filling....will get that done when it is re-covered.

Monk,

Thanks for the pic/info.

I think that seat is gonna look the 'dogs' when you've finished it.

I will wait with 'baited breath' to see the end result.
