Clock Bracket (Update for members)
I`ve given a few other members some of the correct backing foam that is fixed to the clock bracket and thought some of you may be interested to see how I did mine.
Starting with my freshly painted bracket.......
And freshly rebuilt clocks........
I made some templates out of card and checked that they fitted correctly.
I then drew the shape onto the foam.....
And cut out all 4
I used a hydraulic fitting size 12L and hammered it onto a block of wood to make the circular cut out.
Until I ended up with all 4. You will notice that one has a semicircular piece cut out on the edge. I do not know why this is there but followed the shape anyway.
I made sure that they fitted the backs of the clocks
Before gluing them into place
And finally the worst part...............waiting 24 hours for the glue to properly cure.

Mainekz. I diid give you enough for at least 2 sets of clocks..............or did it blow away again
If you want to get it back to me I could cut you a pair out and sort out Padders at the same time.
I`ve just given my last bit to a member but could get more next time I`m in Wycombe.

Re: Clock Bracket (Update for members)
I'm bumping this from the archives as a couple of members have requested foam. I can't believe I originally did this 12 years ago
I knew I had some left. So, anyone that wants some is welcome to it, free, gratis, at no cost. Be aware though once it's gone it's gone. I remembered that it's called 4mm Toshiba (closed cell foam) and the place that gave it to me is no longer there.
Please only ask if you have some clocks that need it for a current rebuild. I can always hang on to it and will gladly supply anyone.
