Yes I`m pleased about the paint job,for rattle cans,but i`ve put a laquer over the matt from the cans,build on hold now bottom casing has got a snapped stud and a crack in it i`d missed them before Mick spotted them else I`d have built it with an oil slick behind me.

Just taken a couple of quick pics as am jumping into car and popping to Hobbo`s hes got somebody who can sort this.

Right back on track ,the snapped studs were fixed by a good friend of the Hobbo`s who is a speedway rider for not a lot of money, so now the bottom end is together and in the frame,

I`ve had a good look at the combustion chamber and there are no cracks

So still in need of a loom and some other bits but were back

Ted, what s in the Metro then, I see the Lotus sticker so is it rear wheel drive and if so which engine, or have you put the izusu engine out of a front drive elan in??
