Looks great Chris some well thought out parts on the bike which are not obvious until you look closer.

Cheers for that, when I get it a bit better sorted out I'll take a picture with something better than my not at all recent phone - which did prove itself useful by being able to record it too.

I was just pleased it sounded so on the money for first time started... theoretically of course if you've built the fucking thing properly it should, don't know about anyone else but I've had quite a few experiences where they've been in a lot fewer pieces and sounded a hell of a lot worse. :cool

As a newbie round here, it was suggested I look at this thread.

Chris, that looks really good, sounds pretty good too!

I wouldn't have the patience, skill or balls to try that.
Look forward to seeing that thing round the country some time.
Don't suppose you'll have it done for the bike show this weekend in the King's Hall?

This is a long-term project....Chris has had to endure much p*ss taking over the length of time he has taken. He actually had hair when he started it :!:

To be honest I'll probably not even go to the King's Hall all the classic stuuf and some kind of autojumble is supposed to be upstairs this year, but I doubt if there'll be much to see. This bike will definitely be at the Antrim Show 20/21 November assuming it goes ahead.

Like I care - most real world projects take forever - I started this in 1991, one of my brothers actually started modifying it in 1980, finishing up with a Piper, mag wheels, Dresda arm, Raask rearsets, Moriwaki big bore kit and flake paintjob, before buggering off about 1985 and leaving at our parents' house until I eventually decided to appropriate it. It could have been finished years ago if I'd had unlimited funds and could have made everything myself, but I haven't and can't so it's not always that simple.

I wish I still had hair though... :fro

Finally on the road in July 2010.

At Carlingford in September looking for the ROI Z1 contingent... first longish run.

And last week - back to Jeremy's for it's new MotoGp stylee megaphone which I purchased from Exhaustcraft Dave at Stafford and which we hadn't got fitted yet.

This should be on the bike in the next day or two more pics when I get it back but I think it's going to look good

Also getting a rack done - needed a wider than standard one because of the wider shock mounts.
