It Runs! It Runs ! Yee Haa!

Is there any thing as good as hearing your engine running after you have had it all in bits. Could not even wait to put the pipe on, sounded like a drag bike, had to turn the lights off in the garage to watch the flames out of the exhaust ports. 12 year old daughter thought it was the coolest thing she had ever heard!! ( have to take her to the pod to watch some top fuel!) God knows what the neighbours thought. :P

I got a leak from the head gasket feb 2008 on that hot weekend decided rather than just replace it was a good excuse to 1075 it. But cash, bad weather and trying to survive the credit crunch meant not much got done last year except a pile of shiny bits getting bigger on my desk! Now it lives again and I am more happy than a dog with 3 tails :) :)

So tomorrows job run it for a few minutes then change the oil, let it cool and re check the tappet clearances , then fit the mega shiny JMC swing arm and the Lesters I spent hours last year polishing and painting, then hopefully MOT d and on the road 1 st of May.

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL

:beer
