BAD PENNY
Back again!!
did you miss me !!!
no?
oh ok
so i thought it only right to post in here as i have been lapsed for a while
so, although i am a dedicated 2 stroke nut, i always have a four stroke lurking in the background. I recently upgraded to a new yamaha tracer, as i fancied doing a bit of touring.
i went off to spain and portugal on it and it was great. only trouble was it looks dogshit
so i traded it back in for an MT09 which i had painted in Rossi colours. very nice bike, took it to the isle of man at easter.
it was a great bike , but i couldnt help riding it like a t**t. wheelying everywhere and generally being a hooligan. Well at 55 years old i think it is time to pack all that in. i just couldnt ride it sensinbly. so back to the dealers and handed him the keys to sell it.
then i saw the light !!
bought myself a green Z900A4, and i flippin love it. It does everything i need a fourstroke to do. It is not fast by modern standards, but it is fast enough. It is super comfy, very stable with modern tyres and hagon shocks, a good tank range and it looks amazing.
I have wanted one for years, and now i have one i am in love with it!
i went to the cotswold on it last weeknd and did 550 miles on it in a weekend . Job done. no dramas. No holed pistons, no fingers on the clutch on the motorway, yet it still draws admirers whenever i park it up.
yes i have rejoined the club and it looks like i am here to stay.

Higgspeed....very nice looking A4
"fingers on the clutch on the motorway".....didn't stop me from seizing up at 120mph on 380LC (been to Stan Stevens for serious tuning), didn't even get into top gear.....it happened so fast that I was on my arse before I could even think to pull the lever in and that was with the fingers resting on it
