Hello all
Hi guys, after many false dawns, i've finally bought myself a big Z. Like a few I've seen recently, I've bought a Z1000LTD - it's a 1980 in very good condition with a low mileage. It's a project bike for me, not that it needs to be worked on particularly, but I want to take a bit of the yankiness off it - the stepped seat for a start, straight bars, relocate the indicators to the side of the headlight where they should be. I have a few questions immediately which I will post in the correct place. Will welcome guidance from you all. Thanks. Martin

Cheers Bill P,
Have enjoyed taking the spanners to it today. Nothing like rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck into a project!
Re: Hello all
Nice bike interested to see what you do with it. Flat bars would look good if you can get them on, saw a Sceptre with flats in a picture once and it transformed the look of it.
Re: Hello all
Nice looking bike. Look forward to seeing it finished when you’ve put your stamp on it!

Hello Martin
welcome to the club!
Very nice bike you have there.
It has the MK2 engine in it, the best of all.
Good luck with it.
