Hi All from Suffolk

#1 PostAuthor: SuffolkZ1r » Fri Oct 15, 2021 2:41 pm

Hi to you all.
Have just brought my 2nd 1978 Z1R :D
The first was in 1983 which was one bike out of many that I have very fond memories of. Back in the day , normally if you wanted a different bike the one you owned had to go to make way for it.
However, almost 40 years on and rather than having money in the bank earning Jack Sh*t have decided to start a small collection of bikes I had and loved back in the day. So far a couple of Kwaka triples and this new addition have graced the garage..
It’s in need of a bit of Tlc with paintwork looking very 80’s but will hopefully evolve into something a bit different.
Will have some questions for all you knowledgeable guys out there soon.
Glad to be a Z1 owner again and to be a member of this club also.
Cheers Gary

Hi Gary

welcome to the club!
Nice Z1R you have there, congratulations!
You took the right decision to start collecting bikes. Make sure you have enough room to store them.
Take care: collecting bikes is very addictional, before you know it you have to build a shed to store them :D
Greetings from Belgium.

With the possible exception of the Molly TC, Kawasaki could not have chosen a better colour than the original Stardust Silver it really suits the Bikes lines and style.

Hi Gary

Lovely Z1R and welcome to the Z1OC !

I have asked Andrew ( Anzed) who coordinates the East Anglian what’s ap group if you can be added so you find out what rides are going on locally . Good to meet you at the Suffolk classic bike show and look forward to seeing you on a future gathering of East Anglian Z’s or other events locally.

Good luck with the new Z !

Cheers
