#1 PostAuthor: solshep » Wed Jul 10, 2024 4:44 pm

Hello there Z1 Owners, finally managed to get registered in the z1 owners club.
Just wanted to say hello and thanks for letting me join.
I have a few old zeds:-
2x Z1000st
Gpz1100b1
Gpz1100b2
Z1000j3
Z1100d1 spectre
2x Z1100A
They are all needing lots of work though so I am going yo rebuild a few of them and probably sell the rest on for projects or parts, hopefully manage all this in next couple of years with the help of some of you guys maybe for parts and advice.

Hi solshep

welcome to the club !
Nice to have someone on here who has an addiction like me :D
You can never have too much bikes or too much projects, it keeps you busy and away from the pub...
Just show us some pictures please, don't be shy.
Greetings from Belgium.

[image][/image]Ok, not got many pictures of the old bikes, but I will look some out and pull a couple out the shed. Here's one of my St's and the 2 bikes I use at the moment, will add more later.

Here is the Spectre I am working on at the moment, came to me with a knackered starter motor, 750 unitrak clocks, weird set of idiot lights, wiring a total joke, fork seals knackered, seized brakes which I am currently working on and that stupid blue frame. Runs sweet though, not sure what that exhaust is off. Bought it off Ebay few years ago fir £400 as a non runner. It been in shed since because of bereavement (my wife passed away) and I have been very unwell, in and out of hospital for past few years. Will put some more pics on later of others.

Couldn't help myself, bought another Z1000ST, that makes 3 now, well actually i expect to get 2 and lots of spares. Here's a link to the advert on Gumtree

Ended up paying £750 for it but it has electrical faults, no spark etc., I will get around to working on it soon, if it ever stops raining here in Scotland lol.
