Hi guys and girls, just introducing my self to you all with a bit of bike history, first bike aged 9 was a DT 80, then a CB250RS, and on it goes for almost 35 years, never been without a bike of some kind, I've built and restored many many bikes over the years, today, I have a KZ1000j1 just restored in ford performance Blue, A 1984 Z11R which undergoing a full restoration hopefully ready for the Scottish summer if we get one, and a Z1100 b1 a Parts bike at the moment but she will see the road again once the Z11R is completed, So far things are going well on the Z11R work but I know I'm going to require advice from this forum at some point,
:D
Thanks Scot08 (Aviemore)

Id be very happy to post photos of past, present and future projects and problems i incur along the way,
But whats the best way, by best i mean easiest, i don't have a photobucket account and don't want one to much hassle .......
Ive read stories on here about adding photos which seem to be a nightmare... :??

Welcome Scott,

We're in the dark ages here.

New forum, with easy picture posting has been in the pipeline for years. In fact it does actually exist in a 'test' model, but for some reason it has not been switched over.
I asked at the 2015 & 2016 AGM's about progress....... Seem's we're going nowhere. :doh :doh

You're right Scot, Photobucket is a pain in the ******* arse. It used to be tricky but since its transfer of ownership it has become very money orientated also making it almost un-workable.
I tried Dropbox too but that seems to be somewhat similar and i found it impossible to get my head round as some of the basic functionality required seems not to be there. It appears to be heading toward professional users which are business based.

Listed below is a review page for ten or more (free) other alternatives, worryingly though they list PB and Dropbox fairly high in the lists and although they stress the highlights they completely miss any downsides like pop-ups, constant e-mails, adverts, begging letters, purchase suggestions etc etc etc.

https://www.lifewire.com/best-free-imag ... es-1171529

One other possibility exists; the sites own pinboard (top right of the page).
If you have one of the free accounts mentioned above, likely with the change over to a new version of the board software, they or their links will be lost where; pinboard images will likely be copied over.

No easy answers from me i'm afraid, and not knowing anything about computers, i find it impossible to give any guidance except the obvious,
to say; keep copies on youre own devices.
