Hello Everyone,
Just joined the club.
A bit about my biking to date..
Back in the day started on the old M***D, an H**** SS50 5 speed
Worked my way up over the next couple of years, finally arriving in 1979 with a 1977 Z1000a1. A mid-life crisis in 2002 saw a Z900a4 come and go before owning a few sports bikes.
Anyway I've now seen the light once more and gotten myself a Z1000a2 witch I am carrying out some light restoration work on, hopefully on the road for March.
I would like to also own a Z1a or a Z1b in the near future (looking now ) .
Looking forward to joining in with all the fun.

Welcome to the club. And good choice of Zed (A1 or 2).
Top forum advice. NEVER ever ever ever ever mention the Words Honderer or Mowerped again as this could result in your membership being suspended and club moderators calling round your house late one night armed to their false teeth with a Rusty Harris and large tub of Swarfega (The gritty stuff).
Pic's of said A2 are also compulsory.

Remeber the addage of: 'Better your sister in a whore house than your brother on a H****'?, and you won't go far wrong.
BTW The ELR is the best zed anyone who says otherwise is foolishly mistaken in my humble opinion! 😆

Welcome steve, I used to enjoy passing an ss50 on my ap50 on quite a regular basis, ,,, the same guy, the same road, on my commute into work every morning.....poor bloke!
Never seen him in the evenings though.....he was obviously doing as much overtime as he could so he could get a faster ped!
