Hi everyone
After a 33 year hiatus, I decided to get another bike. All of my close friends have continued to ride and have eventually persuaded me to return to two wheels. The last bike I owned was a rather 'gawdy' Z1B (Reg No: JMF 143N ). My 'new ride' is a rather lovely 1978 U.S import, KZ1000 A2, that has had a few mods and a custom paint job (pics to follow) although some of these "mods" will be changed during the next few months. First things first is to get her running smoothly as there are a few issues, which I suspect may be expensive! Historical vehicles are not cheap to run / maintain but isn't that half the point? I do like to tinker - it becomes a hobby in itself - and I can see that my new hobby will have me with my hands in my pockets regularly.
Anyway, Hello to everyone out there and I hope I can get along to some of the 'gatherings' soon.
Steve
