Paying for membership
This may have been answered elsewhere but I can't find it anywhere
1, I have clicked on the big 'Join' button' but that just gives me an error.
2, I have tried the Paypal form but it doesn't fill in the amount due box.
3, I'd rather not deal with snail mail if I can at all avoid it.
I would like to do '1' 'cos it's quick and easy.
If I have to do '2' I will but I'd rather not have the delays as I'd like to be able to have my membership help with insurance costs.
Please don't make me do '3'!
So, what's the best way to give you my monies?

Re: Paying for membership
Leave it until tomorrow we'll see what's going on it should work. This is the best way to join.
Re: Paying for membership
Thanks Chris.
Re: Paying for membership
I have had a similar issue - sent a couple of mails to admin.

What's the error? PM me if it contains your private details.
The code underneath the throbbing JOIN button is new but the underlying mechanism is the same as we've been using since 2012. I know it works for others as people have been using it to pay for a while now.

Now that was my fault It allowed a click on submit before the membership type was selected. Now fixed but I'd much rather you used the link from the throbbing JOIN button as that's fully automatic.
If it's of any help, I'm happy to PM you my daytime number so we can get this resolved.

Sorry but I've not seen any emails about this. Any other admins seen them?
As I said to Lacy, what was the error?

I get this on a separate page
Z1 Owners Club of Great Britain Membership
Argh! I can't find your details for the current session. This should not happen!!
Please email admin@z1ownersclub.co.uk and tell them about this.
Re: Paying for membership
That's a cool error! I'd guarantee ruffle's on it....
Re: Paying for membership
Cheers - I have also got the emails that I sent (that copied me in) should you want them.
Re: Paying for membership
Would you care to try clicking the throbbing JOIN button now?
I've beefed up that bit of the code (some bracing welded on and 8.8 high tensile bolts fitted)
Please report back with good or bad news.

Re: Paying for membership
Oh Yesss - one touch on the throbbing button and we are fully paid. Many thanks.
I don't feel like a fraudulent drain on this forum now. :-)
