Hi Haggler
Tony Sculpher mentions in his great book "Kawasaki (K)Z1000 Z1-R" that: " a good substitute for the original color "metallic stardust silver" is "Havasu Blue" which is found on 2004 model Hodna Acura MDX cars." Find one, it's worth the money and it's plenty of information !!!
My paint supplier in Belgium used that colour to start but added a tiny bit more blue.
Keep in mind that the color changes when you apply a clear coat of varnish.
When I prepared the body parts of my Z1-R before painting them I used a light grey undercoat.
Hope you get the color right! Keep them Zeds riding !
Greetings from Belgium
Philippe
